LAUNDRY AIDE
Job Summary:
Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in Christiana, PA, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents. This is a full-time position with a schedule, including every other weekend. Schedule:
6am-2pm 2pm-10pm 6am-6pm Every other weekend
Responsibilities:
Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding resident clothes and linens Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment Handle resident personal belongings with care and respect, adhering to confidentiality guidelines Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed, such as cleaning rooms and common areas
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working in a healthcare setting or with seniors preferred, but willing to train Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work every other weekend and flexible schedule as needed
