Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our IDD team in our Crafton, PA location.
Schedule:
3 weekdays 6:30 AM
  • 7:00 PM rotating M-F NEW Shift Differentials Monday
  • Thursday | 2:30 PM
  • 7:00 AM + $4.00 per hour Friday | 2:30 PM
  • 6:00 AM + $4.00 per hour Saturday 6:30 AM
  • Monday 7:00 AM + $6.
00 per hour Base Pay Standard base rate: $29.00 per hour
Optional Enhanced Pay:
+ $2.00 per hour (for full-time employees opting out of our primary medical/dental/vision) Position Details Our Licensed Practical Nurse interact and support our adults in a variety of potential settings and provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of every individual served by assisting and training them in the areas of personal care, communication, and social skill development. In addition, most of the people we serve have multiple physical disabilities, extensive medical complications and may require supports for challenging behaviors. This position is located in our PHMC facility that operates as a 45-50 bed location. Program Details Merakey AVS is a non-profit organization which provides homes and a full range of services to adults with all levels of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The majority of the nearly 800 individuals that we support are diagnosed with severe or profound IDD. In addition, most of the people we serve have multiple physical disabilities, extensive medical complications and may require supports for challenging behaviors. Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Current license as an LPN in the Commonwealth of PA. One year of experience as an LPN preferred. Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. A current and valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
