Yes- One (1) weekend / a month requirement.
- Oversees the care of residents and all the components of that care.
- Provide medical treatments as ordered.
- Responds to immediate family member concerns regarding resident care.
- Administers medications in a safe and effective manner, responsible for monthly medication administration records.
- Participates in the initial and subsequent updating of care requirements for each resident, including working with DON and RN to determine levels of care.
- Daily and monthly recaps of new orders and existing orders.
- Able to collaborate with health care professionals via phone or tele-med.
- Records each medication delivery from Pharmacy during the shift and ensures accuracy.
- Communicates with physicians, and other professional service providers, regarding resident care issues and the scheduling of appointments and transportation.
- Oversees the Nursing Assistants.
- Responds to any immediate needs or emergency-situation in the building according to policy and clinical judgement.
- Able to develop and implement a care plan and update as needed.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years' experience.
- Must possess an LPN license.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Must have licensed in the BPOA PA Licensing System.
- CPR/AED certification required.
- Experience in long-term care required.
