Your professional skills as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) will make a meaningful difference during the school year, providing essential care and fostering a safe atmosphere for students.
Key Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania license as an RN or LPN Ability to obtain all required PA clearances prior to start Proven experience managing Trachs, G-tubes, ventilators, and performing breathing treatments Previous work with children or within a school setting preferred, but highly motivated candidates without this background are also encouraged to apply
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to students with complex medical needs during school hours Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed and maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policies Collaborate with educators, school administrators, and families to develop individualized health care plans and ensure students' unique needs are met Provide emergency care and manage acute medical situations in a timely and professional manner Educate students and staff about health, wellness, and safety protocols as needed This contract position offers a unique chance to extend your clinical expertise into the educational setting, working closely with children and adolescents in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere.
