Rotating weekends Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and physical examinations, to inform care planning. Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Manage IV infusions, catheterizations, tube feedings, and ventilator support as required for specific patient needs. Document all patient interactions thoroughly within electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Epic. Assist with diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection/processing, and wound care procedures including suturing and sterile techniques. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies. Support acute pain management and infectious disease care through vigilant monitoring and appropriate interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings such as ICU, emergency rooms, or outpatient clinics to ensure seamless patient care. Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration, health coaching, and post-discharge instructions. Maintain compliance with long-term care regulations and safety standards across all practice areas.
