Job Description

At LMG Family Practice, you will find warm, professional, and accessible medical care that families trust for all aspects of their medical care and wellness. Our doctors and allied healthcare professionals provide primary care services, from short visits to comprehensive physical examinations, for everyone from pediatrics (ages 5 and above) to seniors. Currently, we are looking for a clinical team member (MA, LPN) to join our triage team, who is friendly, dependable, detail oriented, and professional.
Job Responsibilities:
This is primarily a desk job with direct patient care via telephonic triage and outreach. Communicate via telephone to coordinate patient care, such as medication refills, results, triage, and other medical questions. Support the office performing a variety of functions within the care team as directed by the providers and the clinical manager. Document in an electronic medical record (EMR). Assist with clinical paperwork. Bring patients back to the rooms and complete a full set of vital signs and health history. (If needed) Perform EKGs and injections as directed by the provider. (If needed)
Job Requirements:
Current Pennsylvania MA or LPN license. Experience will be considered in lieu of license. 2+ years' experience in an outpatient setting Strong computer skills and experience with an EMR - Nextgen a plus, but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as a team. Must be able to answer phones and triage patient care proficiently. Understands Lab work/Testing and Doctors orders Must be professional, pleasant, and calmly handle stressful situations. Schedule - Flexible morning, afternoon, evenings and rotating weekends (approx. every 3-4 weeks). Hourly rate dependent on licensure and experience.
