A Licensed Practical Nurse or Vocational Nurse provides basic medical care under the direction of registered nurses and other healthcare specialists. The tasks that they are permitted to perform vary by state, but usually include changing bandages, checking blood pressure, or helping feed patients. May work in hospitals, nursing homes, or other healthcare facilities.

Nazareth Hospital - Philadelphia, PA 2701 Holme Avenue Physician's Office Building Suite 302 Position Purpose The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse is to support the physicians in their delivery of quality clinical services in an office setting. As an LPN, you will: Appropriately and professionally assist patients during the examination. A ssist the physician and assist the MR with front desk duties when necessary. Maintain the clinical inventories for the practice under the direction and guidance of the Office Coordinator and/or provider(s). Adhere to infection control policies and procedures in the delivery of patient care. Record patient data in a pertinent, concise, timely, and legible manner. Prepare lab specimens for pickup and maintain pick up record.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered Practical Nurse License (required) Bachelor's degree (preferred) 1+ years of experience (required)
