Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, processing, and basic medical imaging procedures. Manage airway support and ventilator care for patients requiring respiratory assistance. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health management. Support acute pain management and post-operative recovery through effective nursing interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and patient education to ensure seamless continuity of care. Skills Proven experience working with diverse patient populations in settings such as long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU and trauma centers), hospice care, or outpatient clinics. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and HIPAA regulations for maintaining confidentiality. Skilled in performing physical examinations, venipuncture (phlebotomy), catheterization, suturing, and sterile techniques. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; experience in geriatrics or pediatric care is a plus. Capable of managing urgent situations including triage in emergency medicine or urgent care settings; adept at first aid and airway management.
