We'll pay you up to $300 per month for your existing LPN loan payment for as long as you're working at The Patriot! Summary As an LPN in a flexible PRN and part-time role, you will provide essential patient care in various settings, primarily from 2 PM to 10 PM. Reporting to the nursing supervisor, your responsibilities will include catheterization, patient assessment, and administering tube feeding, while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Your core skills in basic life support and EHR systems will be vital in ensuring high-quality care. With premium experience in critical care and long-term care, you will support patients with diverse needs, contributing to their overall health and well-being in a compassionate manner.
LPN Job Details/Responsibilities:
Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents (i.e., physical, cognitive, and socialization factors) in planning the delivery of care. Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care, if applicable. Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents is maintained. Demonstrates expertise in dispensing medications and treatments by all routes as ordered by the Physician within established time frames. Ensures no medications are left unattended. Assesses effectiveness and observes for interaction and reaction of medication and treatment. Documents medication and treatment administration in a timely and accurate manner according to Resident Care Policies and Procedures. Complies with all State Department codes and requirements regarding nursing care and documentation. Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan. Qualifications Valid LPN license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Proficiency in patient care and assessment, including catheterization and tube feeding Experience with EHR systems, particularly Epic and Cerner Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance Background in critical care, long-term care, or assisted living environments Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities
