Role Overview:

The Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care in a clinical setting, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs. The role involves contributing to assessments, implementing treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, and evaluating patient responses. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, participates in evidence-based practice, and mentors new staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and coordinate patient interactions. Reinforce patient and family education, discharge planning, and safety protocols. Participate in unit-based decision-making and contribute data for care evaluations. Assist with performance appraisals and precept new staff, fostering a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree preferred. Ability to work under a Temporary Practice Permit until NCLEX is obtained. Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. Commitment to safety, quality care, and continuous learning.
