Based in beautiful Boise, Idaho, our practice serves local patients alongside individuals who travel from across the United States for specialized treatment. In this role, you will be much more than a clinical assistant—you will serve as the backbone of clinic operations , working side-by-side with Dr. Slade to curate an unparalleled patient experience. You will manage clinic flow, ensure flawless surgical prep, and provide the attentive, seamless communication that traveling and local patients rely on. What You'll Do (Your Impact)
Direct Patient Care:
Serve as the primary clinical point of contact, setting clear expectations for surgical outcomes, addressing patient inquiries with urgency, and providing compassionate support throughout their care journey.
Drive Clinic Excellence:
Oversee daily clinic flow, perform vitals, assist with in-office procedures, and manage instrument sterilization.
Master Clinical Operations:
Coordinate pre-op labs, order imaging, manage chart prep, and navigate prior authorizations and insurance processes efficiently.
Optimize Electronic Health Records:
Utilize EHR and health exchange tools—including eClinicalWorks, Epic, and IHDE —to maintain thorough, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant documentation. Partner Directly with
Leadership:
Work seamlessly with Dr. Slade to anticipate practice needs, maintain scheduling precision, and pivot when urgent patient priorities arise.
What We're Looking For Credentials:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or licensed LPN in the state of Idaho.
EHR Expertise:
Proficiency with modern EHR platforms ( eClinicalWorks experience is a major plus!).
Administrative Savvy:
Strong understanding of Idaho insurance landscapes, prior authorization workflows, and record retrieval protocols.
Exceptional Communication:
Outstanding verbal and written skills, with the ability to convey clinical information clearly and empathetically.
