This unique position is ideal for LPNs or RNs who thrive in a collaborative, student-focused environment and are seeking a flexible summer schedule. Youll play a crucial role during an extended school year session, working closely with a young student on an elementary caseload. Start your days with a supportive school community, ensuring students well-being and safety during both school activities and transportation. This assignment runs from July 6th through August 6th, with working hours Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 11:30 am each day16 hours per week, including time spent riding the bus with the student to and from school.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license (school nursing experience preferred) Experience in pediatric or school settings strongly valued Current CPR certification and immunization records up to date Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations Comfortable working independently and in transit with students

Key Responsibilities:

Accompany student on the bus, providing supervision and medical care as needed Deliver nursing services and health monitoring throughout the school session Administer medications, treatments, and manage any health-related incidents Collaborate with school staff, families, and other team members to support the students goals Maintain accurate documentation for all care provided This role offers the chance to make a real difference during the crucial summer learning period, all while enjoying a consistent, predictable weekly schedule.
