Qualifications:

Current, valid LPN, LVN, or RN licensure in Rhode Island Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Ability to provide compassionate care to elementary-aged children Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable with bus transportation responsibilities

Assignment Details:

Contract dates: July 6th August 6th

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 11:30 am

Caseload:

Elementary students Additional 30 minutes before and after the shift for accompanying the student on the bus

Total:

16 hours per week, 4 hours each day

Responsibilities:

Monitor and attend to students health needs while at school and during transportation Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Provide first aid and manage health emergencies as needed Ensure student safety and well-being before, during, and after school hours Effectively communicate health updates with school staff and parents This summer assignment blends clinical skills with a supportive educational setting, offering a stable routine and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners.
