9559080-02886 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract assignment providing dedicated care in a supportive educational environment near Warwick, RI. We're seeking compassionate LPNs, LVNs, or RNs to assist elementary students during an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role focuses on ensuring students' well-being both onsite and during transportation. This assignment runs from July 6th through August 6th, with a Monday through Thursday schedule from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Youll contribute 16 hours weekly, including time allotted for traveling with students on the bus to and from the school.

Desired Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN, LPN, or LVN license in Rhode Island Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting Ability to manage and administer basic medical care within an educational environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and safety at all times Comfortable riding the school bus and attending to students needs during transit

Key Responsibilities:

Provide routine and specialized nursing care to elementary students during school hours and transportation Monitor students health and respond to any medical needs or emergencies Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate documentation of care delivered each day Collaborate with educational staff to support students safety and success Communicate effectively with families as needed regarding health or care plans This summer contract provides a unique opportunity to influence the day-to-day lives of students while enjoying consistent hours and a school-based schedule.
