30-36 Dollars Per Hour We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced pediatric nurse to provide private-duty care for a sweet and precious infant with a tracheostomy. This is an opportunity to become a trusted member of a loving family's care team while providing attentive, one-on-one nursing care in a comfortable home environment. Responsibilities Provide safe, attentive, and developmentally appropriate nursing care Provide tracheostomy care and monitoring according to the infant's established care plan Monitor respiratory status and recognize changes that require intervention Perform suctioning and other ordered respiratory treatments as appropriate Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor vital signs and overall condition Assist with feeding and other daily care needs Maintain accurate nursing documentation Communicate appropriately with parents, physicians, therapists, and other members of the care team Follow all physician orders, emergency protocols, and infection-control procedures Provide a calm, nurturing, and reassuring presence for the infant and family Qualifications Current RN or LPN/LVN license in , as applicable Pediatric nursing experience required Experience caring for infants with tracheostomies strongly preferred Current CPR/BLS certification Strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills Dependable, patient, compassionate, and attentive Comfortable working closely with parents and respecting the family's home environment Willingness to complete any required pediatric/tracheostomy-specific training What We're Looking For Most importantly, we are looking for someone who will treat this little one with the same gentleness, patience, dignity, and love that they would want for their own child.
