Job Description
Job Overview Peachtree Centre is a leading senior care provider dedicated to providing a compassionate, patient-centered health care experience through a culture of caring, quality, and excellence in the communities we serve. A Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their wellbeing. Their duties include checking vital signs, recording a patient's medical history, and often includes the following responsibilities:
- Direct the daily activities of the CNAs and ensure policies and procedures are followed by nursing personnel.
- Participate in admissions, discharges and transfers of residents as required.
- Assess resident's conditions, prepare, and administer medications per physician orders.
- Initiate, review, and update care plans.
- Report any changes in a resident's condition to the nurse supervisor and keep them informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform work as assigned.
- Perform other assigned duties given by clinical or administrative leadership.
