Document all patient interactions and treatments using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Prognocis. Educate patients and families on health conditions, medication administration, discharge planning, and self-care techniques Coordinated surgical scheduling for multiple providers, ensuring appropriate documentation and preoperative requirements were completed. Obtained insurance prior authorizations for surgeries, procedures, medications, and diagnostic testing. Communicated with patients, surgeons, hospitals, and insurance companies to coordinate timely care. Verified insurance benefits and ensured compliance with payer guidelines. Maintained accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR). Educated patients on preoperative instructions and addressed questions regarding surgical preparation. Skills Proven experience working with diverse populations including women's health patients, individuals with developmental disabilities.
