Senior Care of Marion Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring. Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility support, hygiene, and nutrition management. Manage acute pain and complex medical conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, infectious diseases, and post-acute recovery. Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations and maintain clinical confidentiality policies while documenting medical records accurately. Provide education and emotional support to residents and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options. Qualifications Valid LPN or RN license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards. Demonstrated experience working in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care environments preferred. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; experience with medical documentation is highly desirable. Familiarity with geriatric care principles, dementia care strategies including Alzheimer's and memory care practices. Proficiency in performing clinical assessments, medication administration, venipuncture, and basic life support (BLS). Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus. Strong communication skills for caregiver collaboration and patient interaction; ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to handle emergency situations confidently with critical thinking skills gained from ICU or trauma center experience preferred.
