Job Description
Office based nurse needed for opiate treatment program (OTP) located in Sumter, South Carolina. Must be licensed as a LPN and be CPR certified. Experience and understanding of substance abuse and dependency is preferred. Duties include (but are not limited to): Performing evaluation and assessment of new and existing clients in determining appropriateness for treatment or treatment modification Assessing client's appropriateness for medicating Drawing blood and collection of urine specimens Provide assistance in advocacy for opiate treatment program and community education Medicate patients Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Tech license is required. Drop off lab samples daily Dose/Triturate Patients according to policy when pharmacist is not available.
