Job Description
Our Team MaxWell Clinic is a motivated team on a mission to get to the root cause of our patient's health problems and support them on their journey to maximum wellness. You MaxWell Clinic is looking for a Patient Advocate (Monday-Friday) to join our clinic, with a passion for healthcare and a desire to support our patients. We're looking for someone who is a fast learner and able to think on their feet to solve problems and address issues to help our patients thrive. You'll work closely with the rest of our team to provide timely, accurate, and efficient support for our patient's needs. You'll need to be ambitious and goal-oriented, and stay calm under pressure. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about wellness and eager to work in an environment where people's health is a priority. We might be a great match if you have: A genuine love for people and a passion to do work at the highest level Enthusiasm for wellness and functional medicine and a positive, go-getter attitude Active listening skills; a genuine desire to help people and solve problems with empathy and compassion Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to learn quickly when facing new problems or obtaining new information Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience using an Electronic Medical Record system (This is a plus, but not required) Job duties Coordinate care for patients with a variety of medical conditions and needs Act as a coach and accountability partner for our patients undergoing care and treatment Manage patient inquiries; provide seamless care coordination in person, over the phone, and via portal messaging to ensure a smooth patient experience Complete administrative duties such as scheduling patients, ensuring lab work is completed and chart preparation Work closely with the entire team to optimize and deliver an amazing patient experience Understand and confidently communicate MaxWell Clinic's services Work in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document and communicate with patients and staff Benefits (waiting period may apply) Employee discounts on supplements 401K 6 paid holidays Paid time off MaxWell Clinic is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
