StatCare is a private Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep, and Hospitalist medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality inpatient & outpatient care to patients throughout East Tennessee. This individual plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional healthcare services as a part of our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical specialties, including emergency medicine, geriatrics, dermatology, and internal medicine. This role involves providing essential support to physicians and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This individual will be responsible for assisting with patient care, performing clinical tasks, and maintaining accurate medical records. DUTIES Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate Prepare patients for examination by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort Administer injections as directed by physicians and monitor patient responses Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with coding for insurance purposes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans and preventive care Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
