This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient dermatology setting, providing comprehensive patient care and support. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a solid understanding of dermatological procedures, and experience in hospital or outpatient environments. This position emphasizes patient service, clinical support, and efficient documentation within a fast-paced medical practice. Duties Stock and organize exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies Assist with patient triage and workflow throughout the day Prepare, file, and manage paper charts and documentation Support providers with dermatology procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and wound care (training provided as needed) Communicate effectively with management and coworkers to maintain smooth operations Help manage patient flow to ensure efficient, timely visits Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized clinical environment Provide friendly and professional patient interactions Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant or licensure as an LPN required; experience in dermatology preferred but not required Proven experience in outpatient clinics, hospital medicine, urgent care, or similar settings with Geriatrics, Medical-surgical, Internal medicine, or Emergency medicine backgrounds highly desirable Knowledge of dermatological conditions, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential Ability to perform intake assessments, vital signs collection, medication administration, and basic diagnostic procedures, including X-ray support preferred Strong patient service skills with compassionate communication abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient or inpatient environment with hospital experience preferred
Schedule & Compensation Hours:
