Part-Time Overview:

Applesoft Homecare Services LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality in-home healthcare services to our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering skilled nursing care with a focus on wound care, PICC line care, and trach care. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, competitive per-visit rates, and mileage reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform wound care, including assessments, cleaning, and dressing changes, according to prescribed protocols. Provide PICC line care, including dressing changes, line flushing, and monitoring for signs of infection. Administer trach care, including suctioning, cleaning, and tube changes as necessary. Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the supervising RN or physician. Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in compliance with Applesoft Homecare Services' standards and regulatory requirements. Educate patients and families on care techniques to promote patient health and recovery. Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, maintaining dignity and respect for all clients.

Qualifications:

Active LVN license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health, with specific experience in wound care, PICC line care, and trach care preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

Competitive per-visit pay, based on experience and qualifications. Mileage reimbursement.
