Aubrey, TX Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications LVN Full Job Description Caring Hands ISS | Aubrey, TX Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:30pm Caring Hands ISS is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Caring Hands ISS Program, which provides individualized skills and socialization services to adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This is a great opportunity for an LVN looking for a consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule and a role where you can build relationships with the individuals you serve. What You'll Do Provide nursing support to individuals attending the day program. Monitor individuals' health and recognize changes in condition. Administer and monitor medications as required. Provide first aid and respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical concerns. Communicate with guardians, families, physicians, pharmacies, residential staff, and other healthcare professionals as needed. Maintain accurate nursing and medication documentation. Follow physician orders, individual health needs, and nursing care instructions. Assist staff with understanding individual medical needs and health-related procedures. Provide health and medication-related training to staff when needed. Coordinate and follow up on medical concerns and appointments when needed. Help maintain a safe and healthy environment for the individuals we support. Qualifications Current Texas LVN license in good standing. Experience working with adults with IDD is preferred but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and dependable. Comfortable working with individuals who may have complex medical or communication needs. Why Join Us?
