Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our outpatient clinical team. Pain management experience is strongly preferred , along with previous experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) .The ideal candidate is organized, confident in a fast-paced clinical environment, communicates professionally with patients and providers, and understands the importance of accurate clinical documentation and following established workflows. Key Responsibilities Room patients and obtain/document accurate vital signs, medication lists, allergies, and relevant medical history. Assist providers with patient visits, procedures, and clinical workflow. Prepare patients and exam/procedure rooms for scheduled services. Review and appropriately document patient information within the electronic health record. Process medication refill requests, telephone encounters, and provider orders according to established protocols and scope of practice. Assist with medication reconciliation and review of patient records. Perform injections and other clinical duties within LVN scope of practice and organizational policy. Assist with urine drug screening and other point-of-care testing as assigned. Follow established controlled-medication and pain-management workflows. Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, laboratory orders, and follow-up care as directed by the provider. Communicate professionally with patients regarding appointments, testing, medications, and provider instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR. Support patient flow and work closely with providers, medical assistants, front-desk staff, and other members of the clinical team. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and organizational policies. Required Qualifications Current Texas LVN license in good standing. Current BLS certification or ability to obtain as required. Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a busy outpatient environment. Dependable attendance and professional conduct. Preferred Qualifications Previous pain management experience . Previous outpatient or specialty-clinic experience. Experience with controlled-medication workflows and urine drug screening. eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience strongly preferred. Experience assisting with office-based procedures.
