Responsibilities As a healthcare professional in a Psychiatric facility, you'll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include:

• Provides psychiatric nursing care within scope of practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) , including monitoring patient behavior, mood, and mental status and reporting changes to the treatment team.
• Administers medications and documents patient responses while supporting mental health treatment , therapeutic interventions, and adherence to individualized care plans.
• Maintains a safe and structured behavioral health environment by observing patients for safety risks, supporting de-escalation efforts, and assisting with crisis intervention as needed.
