Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (LVN/RN) - Converse, TX Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN Opportunities Available First Steps Nursing and Therapy is seeking compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one care for pediatric and young-adult patients in their homes in the Converse area.

Case Details Patient:

1-year-old male

Care Needs:

G-tube care; ambulatory (Low Acuity)

Schedule:

Monday and Tuesday, 6:00 AM-6:00

PM Patient:

9-year-old male

Care Needs:

G-tube care and seizure precautions; non-ambulatory (Low Acuity)

Schedule:

Monday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Responsibilities Provide direct, hands-on nursing care to the assigned patient Assess the patient's condition and document observations Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies Monitor and manage G-tube and respiratory needs Provide tracheostomy and ventilator care when assigned to a high-acuity case Perform vital signs and ongoing nursing assessments Communicate changes in condition to the nursing supervisor and/or physician Educate and support family members and caregivers Complete accurate and timely documentation in Kantime Requirements Active, unencumbered Texas RN or LVN license Current CPR certification Reliable transportation Ability to perform required physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and transfers Pediatric or high-acuity experience preferred but not required Willingness to complete required in-office and on-site training Why Join First Steps Nursing and Therapy?
