Licensed Vocational Nurse - Diversion Center 3149

The Licensed Vocational Nurse performs technical nursing duties and provides direct assistance to the physician under the supervision of the Diversion Center Supervisor. The position includes performing a variety of patient care activities that include, but are not limited to; administration of intra-muscular injections and medical treatments, obtaining and recording vital signs as well as conducting medication education, symptom management, health teaching and other Diversion Center related activities. This position also includes providing TB test and Hepatitis B vaccination to all Center employees. The LVN will provide supervision to clients to ensure efficient operations of the program according to TTBH policies and procedures. The LVN should maintain a safe and secure environment for all clients and will provide support services to the Diversion Center Treatment team. Provides language translation assistance to Doctors when indicated. Required to participate in Clinical Supervision sessions via the assigned Medication Clinic Prescriber Supervisor to meet the required monthly clinical standards regarding the LVN's clinical duties and performance.
