Job Title:
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Corrections
Day Shift
Join our team in Gainesville, TX, as an LVN in a correctional setting, focusing on youth rehabilitation and education.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and IV therapy.
Support youth offenders, following strict protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
Ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.
BLS and IV Therapy Certification.
2+ years LVN experience, 1+ year in MedSurg or acute care.
Experience with juveniles preferred.
Resilient and independent in fast paced settings.
Schedule:
Day shifts: 0600
1900, 36/48
hour weekly rotation.
Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.
Requirements:
COVID
19 vaccination or exemption.
Completion of modules
Pass clinical screen and compliance swiftly.
