Role Overview:

This position provides patient care under the supervision of physicians or registered nurses in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform basic patient care duties including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens such as blood samples (phlebotomy). Assist providers with examinations, procedures, medication refills, and patient flow management. Answer phone calls, record messages, and help schedule tests, appointments, and manage results. Administer medications and immunizations as ordered, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and equipment. Perform clerical tasks like chart retrieval, filing, and completing forms. Attend training sessions and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program. Current LVN license in the state of employment or a compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
