Schedule:
Wednesdays, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM (12-Hour Night Shift) Position Summary Silver-Spring Home Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide skilled one-on-one care for an adult ventilator-dependent patient in the home setting. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in ventilator and tracheostomy care, committed to patient safety, and dedicated to enhancing quality of life. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to an adult ventilator-dependent patient. Monitor respiratory status and ventilator functioning throughout the shift. Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning as needed. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician. Assess and document patient condition, interventions, and outcomes. Monitor vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in patient status. Maintain infection control and patient safety standards. Communicate effectively with family members, physicians, and the clinical team. Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation. Qualifications Current Texas LVN license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Ventilator and tracheostomy experience preferred. Home health or private-duty nursing experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Reliable transportation and ability to work independently.
