Job Description
- Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Night Shift
- Corrections
- Join our team as an LVN for night shifts in a correctional facility in Huntsville, Texas, providing vital healthcare in a dynamic environment.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in a correctional setting.
- Administer medications and IV therapy.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Float across units within a 50
- mile radius as needed.
- Qualifications:
- Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.
- BLS and IV Therapy Certification.
- 2+ years of nursing experience, including 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg.
- Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem
- solving skills.
- Schedule:
- Night shifts: 17:45 to 06:15.
- 13•week assignment, 36 hours/week guaranteed, with potential overtime.
- Flexibility for scheduling and unit floating.
- Additional Info:
- COVID
- 19 vaccination required, exemptions accepted.
- Orientation provided post
- credentialing.
