• Work-life balance is a priority here Responsibilities Under the direction of the RN, the LVN will: Assist in identifying the physical and environmental needs of patients as evidenced by documentation, clinical records, case conferences, team reports, and evaluations Participate in planning and implementing care in conjunction with the RN Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both staff and patients Assure continuity of quality patient care delivered with appropriate documentation Prepare regular clinical and progress notes and summaries Assist patients with activities of daily living while teaching appropriate self-care techniques Provide and maintain a safe environment for the patient, including an optimum physical and emotional environment Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event or incident, including accidents, injuries, or significant changes in a patient's condition Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing Proof of current LVN license required Proof of current CPR certification required Ability to work a flexible schedule Minimum 1 year of experience as an LVN in a clinical setting preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
