Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at League City Pain and Wellness Center. We are a physician owned private practice that concentrates on multi-disciplinary care for pain management focusing on interventional procedures. Our goal is to help patients achieve their optimal quality of life and create a team of professionals that assist our patients to achieve their goals.

10-hour shifts (8:30-6:30) No

FRIDAYS, NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, OR HOLIDAYS

Fridays Position Summary:

This is a dynamic and highly engaging clinical role ideal for an LVN that thrives in variety of responsibilities in a private practice surgical suite environment. This position offers a unique blend of hands-on procedural support, direct patient care, and clinical coordination within a high-performing interventional pain management practice. The LVN will play a key role in both patient experience and operational flow, working closely with Physicians in a setting that values efficiency, precision, and high-quality procedural care.

Responsibilities:

PROCEDURE DAYS

• Establish and manage IV access for interventional pain procedures two (2) days per week Assisting Physicians in the OR during specialized cases on procedure days, maintaining strict adherence to infection control, safety standards, and procedural efficiency
• Communicate with patients and family members for follow-up care and/or education related to interventional procedures
• Administer injections accurately per provider orders

CLINICAL DAY

One (1) day per week, perform intake assessments for new patients and 2-week follow/ups, assist Physician with intrathecal pump refills Maintain EMR documentation during clinical day Schedule follow-up appointments as required for patients Submit all orders for imaging, procedures, etc.

ADMINISTRATIVE DAY

• Coordinate with procedure scheduling, patients, and pharmacies for high-value procedures
• Review intrathecal pump patient log and ensure medications are ordered prior to appointments
• Provide minimal oversight in relation to time and attendance ensuring coverage for 3-5 clinical Medical Assistants
• Complete any notes, administrative tasks, etc.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

• IV administration is critical
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Active TX LVN License
• Pleasant disposition is highly important as you will be directly working with chronic pain patients
