Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas LVN license required. Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing preferred. Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons. Ability to recognize behavior deviations from the norm; to cope with all emergencies in a calm manner and to deal comfortably with chronically ill aged.
