Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including home community care, long-term care facilities, and memory care units. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and patient assessment skills, along with the ability to manage diverse patient needs effectively. Duties Deliver nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including botulinum toxin treatment when applicable. Assist in airway management and provide emergency care in ER settings as needed. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and wellness strategies. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Experience Previous experience in home community care, pediatrics, long-term care, or memory care is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and patient assessment techniques is essential. Experience in airway management or emergency response is a plus. Knowledge of botulinum toxin treatment protocols is beneficial but not required.
