Job Title:
Medical Assistant or LVN Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant or LVN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential clinical and administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations within a fast-paced medical environment. This role involves assisting physicians with patient care, managing electronic health records, and maintaining a high standard of patient service and safety. Responsibilities Perform medical assisting duties including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting physician during procedures. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation of medical records and patient information. Assist with medical documentation, record keeping, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Support sterilization techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment. Work in a fast-paced setting, adapting quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Learn specialty procedures to assist physician effectively during various treatments and surgeries. Coordinate with hospital staff regarding surgery scheduling and other inpatient or outpatient procedures. Handle stressful situations professionally while providing excellent patient care and support to the healthcare team. Collaborate effectively within a team environment to deliver comprehensive patient services. Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Proficiency in EMR/EHR management and familiarity with medical records and documentation processes. Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Ability to learn specialty procedures quickly to assist physicians as needed. Familiarity with hospital surgery scheduling is advantageous. Capable of handling stressful situations with professionalism and composure. Certification as a Medical Assistant or LVN is preferred but not mandatory depending on experience. $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
