Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Acute Care Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in an acute care setting . The LPN will work closely with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care, monitor clinical conditions, and ensure safe and effective treatment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute care environment. Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition. Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the LPN scope of practice. Assist with assessments, procedures, and patient care activities. Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN or physician. Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation. Assist with wound care, IV-related care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures as permitted by state regulations and facility policy. Follow infection-control, safety, and patient-care protocols. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team. Provide patient and family education within the LPN scope of practice. Promote patient comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety. Requirements Current and active LPN/LVN license in the applicable state. Current BLS/CPR certification . Previous acute care/hospital experience preferred . Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Must meet all facility and MSP credentialing requirements. Successful completion of required background screening and onboarding. Preferred Qualifications Experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, emergency, or other acute care environments. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR). Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team. Why Join Us?
