Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable RN or LVN to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in the Conroe area. The nurse will deliver skilled nursing services in the patient's home, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care while supporting the patient's medical and developmental needs. Schedule Monday - Friday Day Shift Consistent weekly hours available Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care in the home setting. Monitor and assess the patient's health status. Perform urinary catheter care, monitoring, and maintenance per physician orders. Recognize and report changes in patient condition. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Document all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely. Maintain infection control and patient safety standards. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and the healthcare team. Educate family members on patient care and catheter-related concerns as appropriate. Assist with activities of daily living as needed. Qualifications Active Texas RN or LVN license in good standing. Current CPR certification (BLS). Pediatric nursing experience preferred. Experience with urinary catheter care preferred; training available for qualified candidates. Strong assessment and communication skills. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to Conroe, TX.
