Licensed Vocational Nurse

Job description: We are looking for a LVN/LPN for immediate hire to help do some health visits. The nurse will perform adult home health visits to patients in their homes. This is a part time position. Tasks include Skilled assessment, skilled observation, skilled intervention and skilled teaching. Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs. Administer Physician-prescribed medication. Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress. The LVN will perform Infusion Therapy, provide education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies. Coordinate care with Physicians, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other individuals involved in the patient's care plan. Job Qualifications:

• Current Texas State Board of nursing license
• At least one-year clinical nursing experience required
• One year Home Health Care Experience a plus
• Reliable transportation with current valid auto insurance
• Current CPR
• TB screen.
