Flexible | Days, Weekends & Holidays Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support outpatient clinical services at Tricare Prime Clinic Chesapeake. In this mission-essential role, you will provide high-quality care to military members and their families in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment. Schedule & Work HoursClinic Hours:
Monday•Sunday, 7:00 AM•7:00 PM Varied shifts based on clinic needs Typical shift length: 8-12 hours Weekend and holiday shifts required The clinic is open on all federal holidays 30-minute unpaid meal break for shifts over 6 hoursMinimum Qualifications Education:
Graduate of a State Board-approved LPN/LVN program or equivalent military trainingExperience:
Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in outpatient, ambulatory, or acute care within the last 2 yearsLicensure:
Current, active, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license (any U.S. state or territory)Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) requiredCitizenship:
Must be a U.S. Citizen Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting Perform patient intake, triage, and vital sign collection Administer medications, immunizations, and IV therapies Assist providers with exams, procedures, and diagnostic testing Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up instructions Support clinic workflow, patient flow, and care coordination Work Environment Outpatient military healthcare clinic Team-based care with physicians, RNs, and clinical staff Use of electronic medical record systems (AHLTA/CHCS) Fully onsite role (no telework) Why Join Us?
