In person - Harrisonburg, VA 22801 No Weekends Position Overview We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position in an outpatient office setting with no weekend requirements . Responsibilities The RN or LPN will work collaboratively with providers and other members of the clinical team to support safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include:

Assessing and assisting with patient care according to individual patient needs and established clinical protocols Interviewing patients and accurately documenting medical histories, symptoms, and other relevant clinical information Obtaining and documenting vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, and other measurements as indicated Preparing and rooming patients for examinations and treatment Reviewing medical records and assisting with appropriate clinical documentation Assisting providers and other clinical team members with patient care and procedures Communicating professionally and compassionately with patients and their families Performing clinical procedures within the RN or LPN scope of practice, including EKGs and venipuncture Collecting, labeling, processing, and preparing specimens for laboratory testing or courier pickup Administering medications and injections as ordered Performing wound care and dressing changes Monitoring patients and promptly communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate provider Following infection prevention, safety, and quality-assurance procedures Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with HIPAA requirements Supporting efficient clinical workflow and assisting other team members as needed

Qualifications Required:

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Evidence of completion of an approved nursing education program Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills Commitment to providing compassionate, professional patient care

Preferred:

Current BLS certification Two years of recent nursing experience Previous experience in primary care, urgent care, occupational medicine, or another outpatient clinical setting Experience with venipuncture, injections, EKGs, specimen collection, and wound care Ideal Candidate We are seeking an RN or LPN who is dependable, professional, compassionate, and team-oriented. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgment, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide respectful, patient-centered care.
