Infusion Reston, VA Pay From:
$30 per hour
MUST:
Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse will have experience: 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse Ability to work independently Strong IV Skills Strong experience administering injections and immunizations Must have doctor's office experience Must have a great attitude and be reliable Must have EMR experience
DUTIES:
Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for the following: Perform nursing procedures under supervision of physician or physician assistant Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms Working in a high volume infusion suite Administering injections and immunizations Starting IVs on patients and administering medications as instructed by the physician Verifying insurance coverage as needed Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patients' chart Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistant Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available in patient's medical records prior to their appointment Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as required Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls Schedule patient appointments and call to reconfirm Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
