Job Description

About the Role We are seeking compassionate and clinically strong nurse LPN to join our inpatient behavioral health treatment center serving individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our facility provides, including medical detox and residential treatment. This is a structured, team-oriented clinical environment — more collaborative and patient-focused than traditional hospital settings — where nurses play a vital role in stabilization, safety, and recovery.
Shifts Available:
FULL TIME NIGHTS
7P-7A Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments upon admission and throughout treatment Monitor patients undergoing medical detoxification , including
CIWA/COWS
protocols Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and state regulations Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and psychiatric stability Provide crisis intervention and emergency response as needed Collaborate with Medical Providers, Clinical Team, Behavioral Health Technicians, and Case Management Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning Educate patients on medications, treatment goals, and wellness planning Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and state regulatory standards Qualifications Active and unrestricted LPN license in Virginia Minimum 1 year nursing experience required Medical detox, inpatient behavioral health, or psychiatric nursing experience preferred but not required. Experience with SUD populations and co-occurring disorders highly valued Knowledge of withdrawal management protocols (CIWA, COWS) preferred BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred) Strong clinical judgment and de-escalation skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
Pay:
$36.00 - $38.00 per hour
