Burlington, VT Job Summary:
HireCare Services - Vermont is seeking an experienced LPN to join our team on a 13-week contract at a long-term care facility in Burlington, VT. As a Travel LPN, you will be responsible for directing the daily activities of certified nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulations, and providing direct patient care. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team, gain new experiences, and earn a competitive salary of $ 2000 WEEKLY.Essential Functions:
Participates in the admission, discharge, and transfer of residents, observing for changes in their status and documenting accordingly Transcribes physician orders, administers medications, and performs wound treatments as per physicians' orders Provides nursing leadership to nursing personnel, providing direct care skills such as colostomy changes, tube feedings, and IV administration Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents' needs are holistically met Initiates, reviews, and updates care plans as requiredAdditional Tasks:
Treats all residents with dignity and respect, promoting and protecting their rights Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to facility policies and procedures Maintains confidentiality of protected health information Reports noncompliance, retaliation, or discrimination to appropriate personnel Participates in life safety and emergency drills and trainingsLicensure and Certification:
Current valid LPN license in VT Valid CPR certificationExperience:
At least one (1) year of nursing experience preferred Evidence of continuing education or special preparation or experience in gerontological nursing and/or long-term care nursing is desirableBenefits:
