As a Joint Commission-accredited leader in healthcare staffing, we ensure trust and peace of mind for both our clinicians and partner facilities. Job Summary 13-week travel contract for an LPN/LVN in a Long-Term Care/Transitional Care setting. Candidates need 2 years of
LTC/SNF/TCU
experience and 1 year of travel experience , with strong IV and central-line skills.
Responsibilities Duties:
Provide nursing care to geriatric LTC/TCU patients. Manage patients with complex long-term and transitional care needs. Start and maintain IVs and administer IV therapy using IV pumps. Perform central-line blood draws and dressing changes. Provide wound care, including wound vac management. Manage wound drains, JP drains, and Hemovac drains. Monitor patient conditions and document care in Net Solutions. Collaborate with PT, pharmacy, social services, radiology, phlebotomy, and other interdisciplinary teams. Float between LTC and TCU as required.
Experience:
Active LPN/LVN license BLS Certification 2+ years of
LTC/SNF/TCU
nursing experience 1+ year of travel nursing experience IV therapy/Phlebotomy Central-line blood draws Central-line dressing changes IV pumps Starting and maintaining IVs Wound care/wound vac experience Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted Reliable transportation required Must be willing to float between LTC and
