We specialize in medication management and interventional psychiatry, including TMS (NeuroStar) and ketamine treatments (Spravato and IM). We're hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for our Lakewood clinic. This is a new role for us, and it combines two jobs. You'll be our RN's right hand, handling nursing tasks within LPN scope. You'll also take on much of the medical assistant and provider-support work that keeps our clinic running. Our clinic is friendly and low-stress compared to inpatient work, and your responsibilities will be consistent from day to day, so you'll know what to expect when you walk in. The role suits someone who wants nursing work in behavioral health without hospital shifts, nights, or weekends, and who likes being the person who keeps things organized. What You'll Actually Be Doing Nursing support (under the direction of our RN and providers) Administer IM injections, including long-acting injectable psychiatric medications, per provider orders - This is quite limited at this time. Take and record vital signs, and gather medical history, psychiatric history, and medication information to support RN intakes Give standardized screenings (such as PHQ-9, GAD-7, and suicide risk screeners) and report concerning results to the RN or provider right away Make follow-up calls to check on symptoms, side effects, and treatment progress, and report findings to the RN Coordinate lab orders and track results for medication monitoring Reinforce patient education on medications and treatments Recognize changes in a patient's condition or signs of a psychiatric emergency, and follow clinic safety procedures Clinical operations and MA support Medication refills, prior authorizations, and PDMP checks under provider direction Provider support and sign-out Letters, documentation, and FMLA coordination Administer drug tests and oral GeneSight swabs Manage medication samples and coordinate with drug reps Support controlled-substance logs and DEA compliance procedures Room patients and help keep the clinic running on schedule Keep accurate, timely records in the EHR Work closely with our RN, MAs, TMS technicians, and providers Looking ahead: We may add infusion services in the future. If you're interested in growing into that work, we'll support the training. Training This role is based in Lakewood. During onboarding, you'll spend a few days at our Vancouver clinic training with our RN and MAs on current procedures. Travel time is paid and mileage is reimbursed.
