Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support for a medically fragile student during the 2026-2027 school year. This role is ideal for an LPN who is comfortable working independently and providing safe, consistent care to a student with complex medical needs in a school-based setting.

Transportation Requirement:
Must ride the bus with the student to and from school Responsibilities Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care and medical support for a medically fragile student. Monitor and manage the student's health needs throughout the school day. Provide care and support related to feeding tubes . Accompany the student on the bus to and from school. Follow physician orders, individualized care plans, and school health protocols. Respond appropriately to medical needs and emergencies. Maintain accurate health documentation and communicate changes in the student's condition. Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as appropriate. Work independently while maintaining communication with the school nursing and support team. Ensure the student's safety, comfort, and ability to participate in the school environment. Required Qualifications Active Washington State LPN license , or willingness to obtain one. Must be fingerprinted through OSPI , or willing to complete the required fingerprinting process. Experience working with medically fragile patients or students. Feeding tube experience required. Ability to work independently while providing consistent 1:1 care. Comfortable riding school transportation with the student. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Previous school nursing experience. Pediatric nursing experience. Experience supporting students with complex or medically fragile needs.
