Job Description

Step into a meaningful role providing essential care and support in a school-based setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers a chance to work closely with a student in a one-on-one capacity, ensuring health and safety throughout every school day. With dedicated hours from 9/9/26 to 6/16/27, you'll be onsite each day for 6.5 hours, helping make a difference in a welcoming educational community near Yelm, WA.
Key Qualifications:
Current Washington State LPN license, or eligibility and willingness to obtain Ability to complete fingerprinting through OSPI or willingness to get fingerprinted as required by school regulations Prior experience in a pediatric, school, or one-on-one care environment is highly valued Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Reliable and punctual, able to provide consistent onsite care at assigned times
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on health services and skilled nursing care for an individual student, maintaining safety and comfort during school hours Administer medications, monitor for changes in health status, and attend to any urgent medical needs Document all care provided according to school and state guidelines Support classroom integration and daily routines as needed for the student Serve as a reassuring presence at the school's start and end times for student arrival and pick-up If you are committed to making a positive impact in a young person's educational experience and are ready for a fulfilling onsite position, apply today to help shape a supportive school environment.
