This role requires dedication to being onsite daily, ensuring consistent care during school hours.
Key Qualifications:
Active Washington LPN license or willingness to obtain one prior to start Commitment to being fingerprinted through OSPI, or open to completing this requirement Prior experience in pediatric, school, or public health nursing is highly beneficial Reliable, compassionate, and sensitive to student needs Excellent communication skills to collaborate with school staff, students, and families Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Role Responsibilities:
Provide individualized nursing care for a specific student, including medication administration and monitoring health needs Remain present at the school during the student's attendance for seamless coverage Respond quickly and effectively to any medical issues or emergencies Work closely with teachers, administration, and parents to support the student's health and educational goals Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to all regulatory requirements
